Blame-free speak-up cultures & teams.

Did you know that despite many companies’ best intentions, their culture tends to shut people down?

While you will surely not have a ‘closed-door policy’, think about it; how often do employees tell you the unvarnished truth simply because you’ve encouraged them to do so?

We have seen many leaders using a variety of approaches to get people to speak up. Many of these efforts focus on improving communication up and down the hierarchy. But they usually fall short. Why? Because company culture insufficiently harnesses these efforts.

While it is simple to say ‘tell me anything', it is not easy to build a culture that truly allows that.

That is why our next online session of the Risk Leadership Society, Friday March 17 1-3 PM CET, will be about blame-free speak-up cultures.

Sander Mickers, VP Integration PMO - Proposed Subsea JV at Aker Solutions, will be our keynote speaker and talk about their 'speak-up culture' using STOP cards.

After his keynote, amongst others, Maria Hernandez, CHRO Americas Region of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, will join the panel.

Active engagement between participants and panelists is expected, guided by confrontational statements about the topic.
